Ann Arbor — Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh wasted no time in the postgame locker room after the Wolverines demolished Maryland to remind them of reality.
There are three regular-season games remaining, and the unbeaten Wolverines, No. 3 in the College Football Playoff rankings, must next travel to Iowa for a night game Saturday. They then return for their final home game against Indiana then play at Ohio State in the final game.
Michigan pummeled Maryland, 59-3, while Iowa lost, 41-14, at Penn State and is 5-4 overall, 3-3 Big Ten.
