Wolverines Set for Sunday Matinee against Ohio State in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The No. 6-ranked University of Michigan ice hockey team (20-6-5, 10-4-3-2 Big Ten) closes out its regular season road slate with a trip to Columbus to round out the season series against Ohio State (11-17-3, 6-8-3-1 Big Ten) today (Sunday, March 6, 3 p.m.).

The game will be played at Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets, with Michigan making its second trip to the venue in the last three seasons. On March 2, 2014, the Wolverines earned a 4-3 win over Ohio State at Nationwide Arena with junior forward Alex Kile notching a goal, senior forward Cristoval 'Boo' Nieves and junior defenseman Michael Downing adding two assists, and senior goaltender Steve Racine making 34 saves to earn the win in net.
