Ann Arbor — Michigan coach Juwan Howard had an out-of-the-box idea to help the Wolverines end their three-game losing streak against rival Michigan State.
He was going to suit up.
“You know what's going to help us? I have one year left of eligibility,” Howard jokingly said Friday. “The No. 25 jersey is coming out of retirement. What I'm going to do is I'm going to dress up for that game and I'm going to help our guys win that game. I am filing to the NCAA asking for my one year of eligibility.”
