On Friday and Saturday, Devin Funchess, Frank Clark and Jake Ryan were all selected in the NFL Draft, but they won’t be the only Wolverines that receive an opportunity to continue their playing careers at the next level.
It has been widely reported that former Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner has signed a free agency deal with the New England Patriots, where he will play at wide receiver. He played at the position for a portion of the 2012 season, pulling in 16 catches for 266 yards and four touchdowns. He returned to that spot for the East-West Shrine Game, where numerous reports noted improvement over the week on the practice field.
