Ann Arbor – Michigan's defensive line has endured a number of injuries, most recently to nose tackle Ryan Glasgow, who will miss the rest of the season, but coach Jim Harbaugh takes exception to anyone describing the group as the walking wounded.
The Wolverines (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten) have two regular-season games remaining, beginning with Saturday's game at Penn State, their second consecutive road game, before finishing at home against Ohio State.
Their defensive line has been hard hit this season, with the losses to injury of Bryan Mone, Mario Ojemudia and Glasgow. And while Michigan escaped Indiana with a double-overtime victory, it was clear the defense was gassed and showing signs of wear and tear against the high-tempo offense.
