Michigan picked up 14 commitments in the month of June, and while that pace slowed a bit in the final few days, the pledges keep on coming. The Wolverines struck pay dirt in the Garden State last week, pulling in a commitment from Camden N.J. defensive end Ron Johnson. On Friday afternoon, he was joined by his wide receiver teammate Brad Hawkins Jr., who likewise announced for the Maize and Blue.
“I would like to thank all the schools that had interest in me and have given me the opportunity to play at their school,” Hawkins said on Twitter.
