Michigan’s basketball team had a disappointing run a year ago and a big part of the reason for that downturn was injuries. It was so bad at one point, the team struggled just to practice with so many people out. Things haven’t quite reached that level yet, but with less than a month left before the start of Big Ten play, the Wolverines are definitely hurting.
The program announced Friday morning that senior point guard Spike Albrecht was done for the season due to his struggles in coming back from two hip surgeries during the off-season.
