Wolverines fall in offensive battle at Purdue

“We knew it was going to be tough,” said Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman. “They're a great team and they're playing at home. Anytime you play on the road in the Big Ten it's going to be tough. But shots were going in and we knew we had to weather the storm as much as possible and try to bounce back and we didn't do that.”

Michigan battled back from a nine point deficit to tie the game midway through the second half, but gave up an 11-2 run in the three minutes that followed.

Abdur-Rahkman had a career best showing with 26 points, making 6-of-9 shots from three-point range.
