Many of us thought JJ had a great preseason game on Saturday. He threw 2 long TD's and looked sharp throwing the ball (even though he threw an early pick). The news came Monday that he was sitting out of practice due to sore knees. Then on Tuesday, it was revealed he needs surgery on his meniscus.
The extent of the tear during surgery will determine how long he is out. If it just needs a trim then he could be out just a few weeks. If its a full repair he is looking at missing the entire season.
