Hunter Dickinson was certainly looking for a high dollar amount in the transfer portal the past few weeks. The rumor mill is saying he is getting $2M a year for 2 years at KU. He will be leaving Ann Arbor with his degree and will have to be enrolled in some type of graduate program at Kansas. He could leave Lawrence with his MBA (for example) and $4M in two years.
Michigan couldn't come close to matching that type of cash. Here is a quote from Hunter himself:
“The people hating on me would leave their job right now for a $10,000 [a year] increase,” Dickinson said.
