Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany is finally retiring in 2020 after 31 years. I had to double check that stat, as I couldn't believe he has been in this role for over 3 decades. Somebody put a term limit on this job please!
Jim is not a friend around here as he continues to take a blind eye to many issues that have effected Michigan negatively the last few years. A couple that come to mind are: back to back trips to MSU and the Ohio State official debacle that he never addressed.
To give Jim some credit, he did bring Nebraska and Penn State to the Big Ten and also started the Big Ten Channel when many leagues hadn't taken that leap yet.
