KALAMAZOO, MI - Western Michigan coach Tim Lester has admired Karan Higdon's running style since the current University of Michigan tailback was breaking tackles at Riverview High School in Sarasota, Fla.
Now, Lester will have a chance to see the type of runner his former recruiting target has become when WMU visits Michigan for a noon kickoff Saturday in Ann Arbor.
During Tuesday's weekly WMU football press conference, Lester talked about recruiting Higdon to Syracuse, where he served as quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator from 2013-15, plus other aspects of the Wolverines that will make them a challenge for the Broncos in Week 2.
