The No. 17 Michigan Wolverines won the game on Saturday, but it wasn’t without some major issues popping up again. The game never felt within reach for the Arkansas State Red Wolves, but the final score of 28-18 shows just how costly three turnovers and seven penalties can be for a team.
It wasn’t all bad, the Michigan run game looked stellar behind Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards, and Benjamin Hall even got a few carries and looked good. The offense was 9-of-12 on third-down plays, and the (starting) defense did what it needed to do to preserve the victory.
