Caris LeVert and Spike Albrecht turned out to be bit players for Michigan’s program the past two seasons. But they had more than bit talent, particularly LeVert, who was on everyone’s preseason list to compete for Big Ten player of the year.
A leg injury kept that from happening. For Albrecht, it was his wretched hips, inherited from his father.
“I didn’t expect it to come this early, but I never do the victim thinking ... the blame game,” he said.
Good for him. But I will. Just to point out what the loss of these two has done to this program.
