On his weekly podcast, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh would not rule out the possibility of quarterback Wilton Speight coming back this year to finish his career at Michigan.
When listing off the quarterbacks in spring practice and how they were performing, Harbaugh talked briefly about Speight.
“I don’t rule it out completely,” Harbaugh said of Speight’s potential return to Michigan. “He’s weighing some of his options ... but hasn’t closed the door on coming back.”
Speight, who graduates in May, was the starter in 2017 until he suffered a broken vertebrae against Purdue on Sept.
