A big part of Michigan’s success on defense in Jim Harbaugh’s first year as head coach came from the play of the defensive line. While most of that group will be back next season, one that won’t be is Willie Henry, who announced on Wednesday evening that he will declare for the NFL Draft, foregoing the option to stay a fifth year in Ann Arbor.
“To my Michigan coaches, teammates and awesome fans, we’ve had a long exciting journey together,” said Henry on Twitter. “For the past few years at the university, all of you have been like a second family to me.
