The Michigan Wolverines have faced a lot of talented players this season. Only one, however, may match up to the skillset of Washington Huskies wide receiver, Rome Odunze.
With all eyes on the final two teams, the National Championship game is setting the stage for a highly anticipated matchup between Michigan cornerback Will Johnson and Odunze. This face-off is not just a test of skill but a showcase of potential future NFL talents.
Johnson has been the Wolverines’ top cornerback this season with the only thing slowing him down being injuries. After missing the first few games of the season, Johnson looked sharp coming back to the Michigan secondary and stayed a lockdown corner through the end of the second quarter against Ohio State until an injury took him out of the game.
