Wichita State sharpshooter scraps Michigan from transfer visit list

It appears that Austin Reaves, a sharpshooting guard who recently announced his transfer from Wichita State, will no longer be visiting Michigan this weekend, as previously planned. According to the website ARHoops.com, apparently things have changed -- for both sides -- over the past 48 hours or so.

The site reported Thursday afternoon that Reaves has narrowed his destination to four schools and Michigan is no longer among them. Big Ten rival Purdue is, along with Oklahoma, Iowa State, and Northern Iowa.

Sources familiar with the situation indicated that it was a mutual decision, with both school and player coming to the conclusion that a visit -- and therefore a scholarship offer -- was not necessary.
