Why Vincent Gray looks like the best of Michigan football's young, untested CBs

While they mixed in more zone looks this past season, the Wolverines often play press man coverage. And although that's a difficult ask, Michigan has developed plenty of starting-caliber cornerbacks over the past five years who can handle their own in coverage.

It'll have to do so again this offseason, following Lavert Hill's graduation.

The All-Big Ten cornerback was a mainstay in Michigan's secondary the past three seasons, and his departure opens up a starting spot alongside returning starter Ambry Thomas.

Hill's replacement could be the player who filled in for him last season when Hill was injured.
