Saturday may be the most important day of Michigan football’s off-season.
The Wolverines will host nearly 25 prospects on campus for the annual barbeque recruiting event, bringing together their top targets and families in one place.
The intent is to expose them to U-M’s campus, accomplished last year by a scavenger hunt for the prospects to see all parts of Ann Arbor and get a feel for more than football.
This event is only open to select recruits — a number who are already committed to the Wolverines — giving the coaches a chances to sell the program and the players a chance to sell themselves.
