DES MOINES, Iowa — Montana’s NCAA tournament appearance last season was all about soaking up the moment. The Grizzlies were just happy to be dancing for the first time since 2013.
A year later — with many of Montana’s pivotal pieces back for a second dance — the approach is different heading into Thursday’s first-round matchup against Michigan at Wells Fargo Arena. The newness, jitters and nerves have evaporated.
Now, it’s just time to play.
“The experience definitely helps with that,” senior Michael Oguine said during Wednesday’s media availability in Des Moines.
