It has been a season of firsts for Michigan football's Luiji Vilain.
The redshirt sophomore defensive end recorded his first college tackle during U-M's 52-0 win over Rutgers on Sept. 28.
Then, in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 45-14 win over Notre Dame, Vilain got his first career sack by chasing down backup quarterback Phil Jurkovec and knocking the ball loose for a fumble.
