Why Michigan's cornerbacks need to have 'a short memory' ahead of matchup with Indiana

On Halloween, Michigan football encountered a new nightmare: Ricky White.

Michigan State's unheralded freshman receiver — who had one catch for five yards in a season-opening loss to Rutgers — put together a Herculean performance in the Spartans' 27-24 win, tallying eight catches for 196 yards and one touchdown.

Time after time, White beat the Wolverines' cornerbacks for big gains. And when he wasn't catching the ball, he was drawing crucial penalties.

It was the worst possible result for a Michigan secondary that features two new starting cornerbacks.
