No. 17 Michigan’s offense has been one of the least productive in the nation this season. The 1-1 Wolverines rank No. 120 in total offense and sizable improvements are necessary at every level.
- Passing Offense: No. 113
- Rushing Offense: No. 101
- Third Down Conversion Rate: No. 109
- Turnover Margin: No. 105
If these rankings remain unchanged it will be a long season for Michigan. However, it’s not uncommon for teams to get substantially better as the season progresses. Despite losing 31-12 to No. 2 Texas last Saturday, Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore said the team’s “not far off” from competing against the Longhorns or any other top program.
