Michigan fans have become somewhat accustomed to the unusual in recent years. With more losses over a seven-year stretch than at any other point in program history, it’s been a tough experience to endure. But even with all the hope and excitement about Jim Harbaugh’s ability to turn that around, there’s something a little bit different about this year’s squad.

As is always the case during the summer months, the preseason watch lists for national awards have rolled out to highlight potential top players in college football. It’s not that tough to get on those lists.
