These days, Shea Patterson finds himself in a gray area – somewhere beyond college yet not quite in the NFL.
It seems a fitting place for an enigmatic quarterback whose tenure at Michigan football could be characterized as difficult to define as he endured bouts of inconsistency.
Both the good and bad of Patterson’s two years in Ann Arbor were encapsulated last Saturday at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
