Wilson himself? Well, the Michigan basketball team’s first verbal commitment of the 2019 class admitted he hasn’t watched old film of his namesake — yet, at least. Wilson models his game after a more contemporary peer.
“I love Jayson Tatum’s game,” Wilson told the Free Press on Thursday night. “I’ve always watched him since he was a junior in high school. I really try to model my moves and everything after him.”
Wilson’s commitment to Michigan was one of two pieces of good news John Beilein received on Wednesday.
