Brian Jean-Mary spent the last 10 years working at three different schools and answering to one boss.
Wherever Charlie Strong went, so did his protégé, Jean-Mary.
They were together when Strong led Louisville to 23 victories in a two-year span and became a rising star in their profession. They were by each other’s side thereafter as Strong struggled during three losing seasons at Texas. And they were in lockstep when Strong made the move to South Florida, where they experienced immediate success in 2017 before encountering unexpected failure this past fall.
They were so close, former colleague Charlie Williams observed, “they pretty much knew how each other thought.
