Michigan inside linebacker Cam McGrone has a diverse skill-set that includes speed and force.
“The thing with Cam is athletically, I would have to say he’d be in the top ten percent in the country at linebacker,” Brown said in December. “This guy has tremendous ability and he’s a very smart guy.”
In 2019, the now redshirt-sophomore impressed on the field with 65 tackles (9 for loss), 2.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. And now heading into the 2020 season McGrone has made the Butkus Award watch list, which goes to the best linebacker in college football.
