A 4-star, top-70-level boys’ basketball prospect usually won’t commit in the fall or winter of his junior year. He’ll often wait until after the spring and summer evaluation periods, when he can maximize his exposure, land some more offers and then have his pick.
Not Zeb Jackson.
The 6-foot-3 point guard from just outside Toledo, Ohio, ended his recruitment way back in October, before his junior season even started. He picked Michigan over six other schools, including Michigan State, Purdue and Ohio State.
