Unlike the offense, the Michigan Wolverines can feel pretty confident when their defense hits the field this fall despite significant changes. Mike Sainristil, Kris Jenkins, Junior Colson, Michael Barrett, and Jaylen Harrell all heard their names called at the draft this spring, and Braiden McGregor and Josh Wallace will get a shot at the next level as well. With Rod Moore out for the year and Keon Sabb transferring, there are going to be a bunch of new names stepping into the starting lineup.
That lineup will be loaded with talent, with three potential first-round picks in next year’s draft and some key transfers filling out the remaining gaps.
