The 2024 college football season has come to an end, and the long, dreaded offseason is officially underway. The countdown to Michigan’s season-opening game against New Mexico is on (Saturday, Aug. 30, in case you were unaware).
Of course, there is still spring ball, the summer, and fall camp to get through — and a spring portal window — before we even get to Week 1, but that didn’t stop national media outlets from writing their way-too-early top-25 rankings well ahead of the 2025 season.
