The 2019 Michigan Wolverines will go down as one of the great Michigan baseball teams of all time. Finishing with a 50-22 (16-7) record, the Wolverines finished second in the Big Ten before going on a magical run.
Michigan knocked off No. 22 Creighton in the Corvallis Regional before stunning No. 1 overall seed UCLA in the Los Angeles Super Regional. At the College World Series (CWS) in Omaha, Michigan won its first four games and needed just one more victory over J.J. Bleday-led Vanderbilt to take home the national championship. Sadly, the Commodores won the last two matchups, forcing Michigan to settle as the runner-ups.
