Plenty of decisions across the landscape of college football need to be ironed out amid the coronavirus pandemic, starting with a complex question: Will there be a football season?
Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel is ingrained in conversations with other Big Ten leaders to find an answer, and he hopes the verdict will come by the end of June or early July.
Assuming football can be played, another uncertainty manifests with stadium attendance. Earlier in June, Michigan State athletic director Bill Beekman said he's planning for 20% to 30% capacity in the 75,000-seat Spartan Stadium.
