Michigan has its first linebacker for the class of 2020.
And this one comes from inside the state.
Three-star prospect Cornell Wheeler, of West Bloomfield, announced gave his verbal commitment to the Wolverines on Tuesday.
Wheeler took to social media to make the announcement, posting a graphic on Twitter of himself wearing a 'block M' Michigan baseball hat with the word "COMMITTED" scrawled across.

The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Wheeler is ranked as the 15th-best inside linebacker in the class of 2020, and 13th-best player in the state of Michigan, according to 247Sports' composite rankings.
