The recruitment of four-star linebacker Kari Jackson just got a whole lot more interesting.
Not to mention more local.
Because he is coming home.
Jackson has transferred from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, back to West Bloomfield, where he started his high school career. He is ranked No. 6 nationally among inside linebackers for the class of 2024, according to Rivals, and holds scholarship offers from Michigan and Michigan State.
By returning to West Bloomfield, Jackson said he will have more chances to visit Midwestern schools this fall.
“I will be closer to Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan and Cincinnati,” he said.
