The Michigan Wolverines were lacking some outside wide receiver depth heading into the 2021 season. Ronnie Bell will be the veteran presence of the receiving crew, with many expecting Cornelius Johnson to break out this year, and Roman Wilson to be the first off the bench. However, after that, there was a lot of question marks. Enter the 6-foot-3 Jackson State transfer Daylen Baldwin and some of those questions have been answered.
Baldwin brings a tall frame, strong hands, experience, and surprising speed for his size. He racked up more than 500 yards and seven touchdowns in only six games this past spring in the FCS, winning the SWAC newcomer of the year award in the process.
