The Michigan Wolverines were looking like they were going to depend on sophomore Zeb Jackson and true freshman Frankie Collins at the point guard position for the upcoming season. That changed quite suddenly when Michigan swayed the services of the Sun Belt Player of the Year DeVante’ Jones to transfer to Ann Arbor.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound guard adds immediately star ability and experience to the point guard position, as well as a huge scoring threat and defensive boost. At more than 19 points per game, he shot that at a clip of over 48% from within the arc and 37% outside of it.
