Michigan came back to Ann Arbor after its first loss of the season against Wisconsin and needed a win to bounce back.
Well, the Wolverines got it. There was some drama, but they got it.
The No. 5 ranked Wolverines were in a back-and-forth game after a sluggish start, but after an 18-5 run against the Gophers, the hero of the night was Charles Matthews. He sunk the buzzer-beating shot to avoid overtime and the potential upset.
Matthews finished with seven points, six rebounds and an assist.
