On Saturday, the Michigan Wolverines a National Championship rematch.
Ten months after the Wolverines and Washington Huskies faced off in Houston, Michigan heads to the Seattle for another primetime showdown. Though the same two programs will square up, the teams have drastically changed. Most notably, both teams have new head coaches at the helm.
For first-year Huskies coach Jedd Fisch — who spent two years at Michigan as its passing game coordinator and quarterbacks/wide receivers coach under former head coach Jim Harbaugh — he is making sure not to underestimate the Wolverines. Specifically, he recognized their apt run game.
