Warren Named Big Ten Second Star of the Week

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- University of Michigan ice hockey freshman forward Brendan Warren was named Big Ten Second Star of the Week today (Tuesday, Nov. 17). Warren recorded a career high three assists to lead all scorers in a 7-3 win for Michigan on Friday night against Niagara. Warren had assists on Michigan's third, fourth (primary assist, GWG) and seventh goals, and was a key factor on Michigan's penalty killing effort that went 4-for-4 on the night.

Warren has multiple point efforts in three of his last four games (2G, 5A), and is third on the team in scoring with eight points (2G, 6A) in seven games this season.
