Lincoln, Neb. — The long wait proved to be worth it for Michigan.
With their seeding already determined for the Big Ten tournament, the Wolverines set their sights on removing any doubt and solidifying their NCAA Tournament bid in the conference’s final regular-season game.
Senior guard Derrick Walton Jr. put on a show and Michigan took advantage of Nebraska’s sloppy play to roll to a resounding 93-57 victory Sunday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Walton recorded his fourth double-double of the season, finishing with 18 points and a single-game program record 16 assists for Michigan (20-11, 10-8 Big Ten).
