Walton looking more likely to return Tuesday

The Wolverines have gone into their last three games without starting point guard Derrick Walton Jr., who suffered a sprained ankle at N.C. State on Dec. 1. With two full weeks passed since that injury took place, he is starting to look more likely to return according to head coach John Beilein.

“We had him warm up as if he had to play [on Saturday] just to see how he would feel,” said Beilein. “I think we dodged a bullet, because in a matter of emergency, we probably would have used him.
