FRISCO, Texas -- It's Day 2 of The Opening and the linemen have checked in.
Among them is highly skilled defensive end Stephen Herron, Jr., a four-star prospect who committed to Michigan last July.
The 6-foot-3 1/2, 235-pound Herron went through a three-plus hour training camp on Sunday at The Ford Center at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys' 12,000-seat indoor practice stadium, running the gauntlet of tests and drills.
Herron ran the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds and shuttle drill in 4.14 seconds, with both included in the highlight video above.
The Louisville, Ky., native is one of three Michigan commits from the class of 2019 on hand at The Opening, Nike's annual showcase camp for some of the top high-school football players in the country.
