Utah grad transfer Casey Hughes' role at Michigan to be determined

Note: This is story No. 14 in an ongoing, off-season series on the Michigan football team's key faces and position groups.

Michigan football has extra secondary help coming in the fall, but it's unclear at this point how Casey Hughes will be utilized.

The graduate transfer from Utah will join the program in the summer, giving the coaching staff just a few months to figure out where to best play him.

Hughes, who stands 6 feet and 185 pounds, started 11 games at cornerback for Utah during the 2017 season, racking up 35 tackles (2 1/2 for a loss), a sack, two forced fumbles and a pass breakup.
