As University of Michigan president Mark Schlissel announced students will return to the school's three campuses this fall, one of those campuses, University of Michigan-Dearborn, decided it won't compete in sports.

U-M Dearborn will not participate in fall athletics, the university announced Monday, along with the cancellation of all athletic training and practices. The school is a member of the NAIA and the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.

The canceled sports include men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.
