ATLANTA -- When Chris Turner made his college decision, he knew he’d have support of his football coaches at Buford High School in Georgia.
But running backs coach Fyrone Davis took the pride to another level after Turner said he’d come to Michigan in the 2018 class.
He's worn a Michigan hat every day since then.
“That has nothing to do with Michigan,” Davis said. “It’s that he chose to do something different and that’s what I thought was special. But I’ll rock his hat for his support.”
Turner on April 10 became the latest Georgia player to commit to Michigan, and he likely won't be the last.
