Ann Arbor — Floridian Karan Higdon had not yet chose his college destination, and he was getting cold feet.
In a game-time decision, Higdon ultimately chose Michigan over Iowa, but it was, as he said, that close.
Higdon, a sophomore running back from Sarasota, is the team’s third-leading rusher with 403 yards on 53 carries and has scored six touchdowns, most of the tailbacks. De’Veon Smith, the team’s leading rusher in the four-man rotation with 450 yards, has scored five touchdowns.
