Could Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh’s “Swarm Tour” — his satellite high-school camp tour that took him and his staff across the country this summer — be no more?
The NCAA on Friday released a list of 72 rules proposals it plans to review and among them, proposed by the Atlantic Coast Conference, involves whether satellite camps should be allowed. The ACC and Southeastern Conference coaches have made the most noise about this, because their conferences do not allow coaches to work camps outside a 50-mile radius of their campuses.
Michigan took advantage this summer of a loophole in Big Ten rules that does allow them to make those visits.
