Then again, Michigan didn't play much of a game.
Eventually, the Wolverines finally put away Rutgers, 68-57, before a barely half-full Crisler Center on Wednesday night.

But it was a struggle, way too much of one against a Rutgers team that now is 0-8 in the Big Ten, 6-15 overall, and lost earlier this month at home to Purdue by about a million, give or take.
This was the second time in as many home games Michigan looked sluggish against a far-inferior team, after eventually downing Minnesota last week.
